Take some time out of your morning to chat with Liz Kobold, the Business Ninja and SME specialist at the Canberra Innovation Network.

Liz recently had the opportunity to travel to the United States with 52 other incredible women from around the world to participate in the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP).

At this Poolside Chat we will learn the key global activities that are happening in innovation and entrepreneurship and hear about inspiring stories on women doing amazing things!

About Liz Kobold

A passionate, funny, innovator and change maker.

A Canberra local with extensive networks in business and the community. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Asian Studies from the Australian National University (ANU). Liz has over 18 years practical experience in developing business, mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs and innovators through the business journey from pre-acceleration, acceleration to re-igniting and supporting innovation and growth in ambitious high growth SMEs.

Liz’s experience has been gained working in commercial banking, cash flow finance, co-founding a start-up and as a business advisor for Department of Industry and Innovation – Enterprise Connect.

Liz is currently the Business Ninja working at the Canberra Innovation Network and works with many entrepreneurs, students, researchers and organisations from diverse backgrounds and industries.

Liz is a specialist in identifying and developing collaborative opportunities within businesses, industry, research and the community. She has co-designed the collaborative innovation program at the Canberra Innovation Network and has developed and co- facilitated around 20 collaborative innovation sessions connecting industry, artists, youth, indigenous business, researchers and businesses.

Liz has worked on and developed other initiatives in the Canberra innovation ecosystem:
Designed and delivered Experts in Residence Program – an educational and support program giving access to Canberra’s entrepreneurs to leading specialists.

Designed and delivered mentoring program for Department of Primary Industries NSW Innovation Program
Worked collaboratively with RIBIT university Internship project to successfully deliver four Canberra events

Parking:

Parking (paid) is available at the City West Carpark, located on Allsop Street.

To get to the Canberra Innovation Network, exit the CityWest Carpark through to Marcus Clarke Street, then turn right onto Alinga Street. Enter the ACT Health Building at the corner of Alinga and Moore Street. The Canberra Innovation Network is on Level 5.
