Explain what you do at CBRIN in 25 words or less.

Help with reception at both CBRIN and Launch as well as with events and anything else where a helping hand is useful.

Tell us about what you are working on at the moment.

Trying to figure out what might help increase attendance of Launch collaborators both at internal launch events as well as at Canberra Innovation Network events.

 Who or what inspires you?

Stephen Hawking

What’s your favourite book or podcast?

The robot brains podcast is what I’m listening to most at the moment while six not-so-easy pieces by Richard Feynman is what I’m currently reading.

What are you most passionate about?

The possibilities presented by AI to help close various gaps within our society especially the gaps in access to healthcare and education.

If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be and why?

Provided I could dis-invent thermo-nuclear weapons without also dis-inventing nuclear energy that would get my vote.

What do you work towards in your free time?

Currently working towards my masters degree in Machine Learning and Computer Vision

What’s the coolest innovation you’ve read or heard about lately?

ChatGPT, while It’s not excessively new having used it over time as a tutor to supplement my studies it continues to amaze with the quality of information both technical and non technical it is capable of producing.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that we may not know

Prior to being a computer science graduate I spent a few years studying law and economics
