Have your say on UNSW Canberra’s transformative City campus

UNSW Canberra's transformative City campus

UNSW Canberra is a Foundation Member of the Canberra Innovation Network.

Featuring tree lined boulevards, striking sustainable buildings, public parks and world-leading research facilities, the UNSW Canberra City campus will rejuvenate the east of Canberra’s CBD for the benefit of all.

The interface between the Canberra and the campus will be reimagined with gateways on Constitution Avenue and Coranderrk Street. This will complement an urban, pedestrian-focused campus. Vibrant, open, green spaces will connect academic and research buildings which will also host eateries and local businesses for the community to enjoy. The new City campus will also host the next phase of Launch, UNSW Canberra’s innovation precinct designed to expand on the University’s beachhead, Launch on Northbourne, a secure and flexible coworking environment dedicated to defence and security research, innovation and collaboration.

The campus will draw on environmentally-sustainable design, employing principles suited to Canberra’s climate as well as honour the existing landscape and surroundings. Public consultations will be held online and in-person to obtain feedback on the Draft Master Plan and ensure the new campus is a perfect fit for the local community.

UNSW Canberra invites you to view the Draft Master Plan and help to shape the next phase of the project by having your say.
The community are also invited to join an online presentation of the Draft Master Plan – there will be an opportunity to ask questions or provide feedback in this session. You can register for the presentation this Thursday here.

The Draft Master Plan is open for community consultation until 1 March 2021.
