CBRIN partnered with the Embassy of Switzerland to deliver a two-part innovation program exploring the theme of trust and innovation in the modern day.
The half-day mini-hackathon brought student teams from Canberra's tertiary institutions together for an intensive innovation sprint. Teams worked through problem definition, ideation and pitch development with support from expert mentors. The winning team addressed AI implementation in schools through a secure, teacher-led system operating within local school networks to ensure reliability while preventing misuse. They were subsequently invited to the Swiss Embassy to present their concept again as part of their prize.
