Join us on Tuesday 18 July for a very special Female Founders event in collaboration with Canberra Indigenous Business Network (CIBN). Over lunch provided by The Goods Wholefoods, hear from CIBN members as they share their experiences in business in a fireside chat. The panel will explore the importance of diverse contributions to all industries, ways to break down biases, and how to best support Aboriginal-owned businesses.

Meet the Panel:

Rachelle Towart OAM – Managing Director, Pipeline Talent

Rachelle Towart is recognised nationally in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership, governance, and education. Rachelle received her OAM in acknowledgement of her achievements in these areas. As the former CEO of the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre, Rachelle trained thousands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders as Westpac Community CEO of the Year (2014) and one of Australian Financial Review’s Australian Women of Influence.

Rachelle is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to reach their leadership potential. Pipeline Talent draws on its extensive database, its professional, personal, community, and family connections to match your requirements with Indigenous leaders.

Kieran Hynes – Founder, Willyama Indigenous ICT Services

Kieran is the owner of Willyama Indigenous ICT Services (WIIS) and Willyama Services (Willyama). WIIS is Australia’s only 100% Aboriginal-owned and Supply Nation Certified ICT and Cyber professional services company operating nationally. Services include IRAP assessments, ICT security reviews, Project Management, network builds and Information Management services. Kieran has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has successfully grown Willyama into one of Australia’s most recognisable Indigenous businesses.

Please arrive at 12:15 PM for a 12:30 PM start. Lunch is included.

Parking is available at the City West Carpark, located on Allsop Street. There is also limited street parking around the building.
