Each year, the World Economic Forum announces its new class of Young Global Leaders, undertaking a rigorous selection process to identify and celebrate remarkable leaders under the age of 40 who exemplify hope, empathy, authenticity, and the drive to develop solutions that can change the world for the better. Members take part in a three-year leadership development programme that will help them reach their next level of impact.
‘The leaders celebrate today have demonstrated exceptional ingenuity and vision across their fields. While they represent diverse sectors, regions, and issue areas, they are united in their commitment to lead towards a more inclusive and sustainable world,’ said Mariah Levin, Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders.
Hamblin Wang’s speeches at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos 2020 and the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 were very well received and have been enormously successful, ensuring that carbon utilisation and the circular carbon economy are key technologies in industrial decarbonisation plans. Sophia’s leadership journey will continue to outline the massive market potential for market leaders helping the world on the race to net zero.
