Speakers include:

Elaine Stead: Elaine is one of Australia’s longest serving active venture capitalists, having established a globally competitive, award-winning track record as a fund manager. Across 20+ years in the innovation sector, Elaine has built an enviable career as a scientist turned entrepreneur turned venture capitalist. Elaine has worked with companies like Shoes of Prey, Blue Sky, CM Capital, Go1 and ANU Connect Ventures to name a few.

Matt Bullock: Matt built global electronic payment system, eWAY, in his garage back in 1998; from there, eWAY went from strength to strength with Matt at the helm. In 2004 eWAY was linked to all major Australian banks, by 2009 it was all major New Zealand banks, in 2014 the company expanded into Asia, and in 2016 Matt sold the company for an undisclosed amount above $US50m. Matt is now back at it again with sales motivation startup Spinify and is an active angel investor.

Anne-Marie Perret: Anne-Marie is an experienced board director, advisor, mentor and early stage investor with a focus on high growth innovative technology companies. She has had a varied career applying her skills and capabilities with both private and public sector organisations. Anne-Marie has worked with the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hong Kong, Ernst & Young and PwC in Canberra. After nearly 14 years in Big 4 Accounting firms, Anne-Marie is now out on her own assisting high-growth technology companies like space services company, Skykraft.

Phillip Williamson: Phil was a technology entrepreneur long before Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey glamorised the business. In the 1990s, he and Michelle Melbourne started a business automation consulting company in a Star Wars-themed bedroom in a suburban Canberra family home. The consultancy evolved into a software company and Intelledox was launched in 2001. Phil also led the development of Australia’s leading learning management software, Capabiliti, which is used by hundreds of thousands of information workers worldwide. Phil makes an impact by mentoring, investing, and supporting fast-growing companies that prioritize both growth and social responsibility. His passion for nurturing ventures with a heart sets him apart as a visionary and impactful leader in the technology space.

Parking is available at the City West Carpark, located on Allsop Street. There is also limited street parking around the building.
