Catherine Carter is a well-known and respected figure in the Canberra community, recognised for her significant contributions to the built environment over many years. She is the Founder and Director of think-tank Salon Canberra, CEO at DJAS Architecture, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra. Catherine is a passionate advocate for Canberra, with a deep understanding of the city’s unique character, history and culture, and her contributions extend to key roles on government, not-for-profit, and industry boards.

Genevieve Jacobs AM is the CEO of Hands Across Canberra, the ACT’s community foundation. After a decade presenting for ABC Canberra she joined Region Media as Group Editor. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a director of the Cultural Facilities Corporation, Regional Development Australia’s Southern NSW board and the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture. Genevieve chairs the Canberra international Music Festival and has an enduring interest in building and strengthening community engagement. In 2021, she was made a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of her services to broadcasting and the community. In 2023, Genevieve led Region Media to a national Telstra Business Award for building community.
