Each Wednesday we interview women in our community about innovation and what drives them to make a difference in their industries everyday!
What are you currently working on?
Closing another investment round for Intelledox will allow us to further expand our international growth – we already have very strong beach heads in the US and Singapore with blue chip clients choosing Infiniti – our high value, low code digital transformation platform – over established global technology brands. I am also working on the Intelledox Global Channel Strategy that will help us to scale quicker – we already have many global partners who are specifically building successful services practices around our technology platform, and we want more!
Why is innovation important to you?
Innovation is the key to business success in today’s highly competitive and diverse world. At Intelledox, innovation is in our DNA. We are highly adaptive and continuously reinvent ourselves to keep up with the fast-moving global tech industry.
What drives you to make a difference?
I have always been fascinated by people, culture & technology. I enjoy the challenge of bringing together the best of these elements, to drive success for Intelledox and for our clients. Taking inspiration every day from Jim Collins’ philosophy: ‘Preserve the core and march it forward every day’ drives me to achieve personal goals, and is also a massive influence on the way we run our software business which is all about helping our clients succeed in the face of digital disruption all around them.
Do you have any advice for getting more women into the innovation ecosystem?
Make maths mandatory through high school. Attract, train and retain more fabulous and inspiring maths teachers. Continue to shine the light on it being OK to call out unconscious bias against women and stamp out entrenched habits that are contrary to equality in the boardroom. I am very pleased to see the VC community rallying around this and focusing on opening up more capital for women-led ideas.
