Spend an afternoon learning practical methods to find customers and make sales. Bring a phone – you’ll be finding and talking to real customers!

We love empowering entrepreneurs to make sales by helping them to put into practice simple methods that really work. You’ll realise that you can be more effective, and learn how to design and execute an effective sales process.

Workshop 2: Raising Capital, Thursday 16 November 9.30am – 1:00pm

Learn how systemise your investor search and how to work on progressing the investor pipeline to raise capital you need to grow your company. The workshop is highly practical, we will guide you through actually finding potential investors for your startup.

Previous participants in this workshop have found real investors in the workshop.

Workshop 3: Negotiating Termsheets, Thursday 16 November 1:00pm – 4.30pm

Learn how venture investments work by actually negotiating a term sheet. In this intensive group exercise you will experience a realistic negotiation over terms including valuation. You’ll experience common pitfalls and traps and you’ll learn tricks you can use to minimise your chance of failing to raise money and maximise your chance to successfully close an investment round.

The negotiation is a great way to understand key venture investing terms and how investing works.

This is a key learning experience for anyone contemplating raising capital from angel or venture investors. It is also valuable for angel investors – even experienced investors have found it valuable.
