The final Female Founders event of 2023 is one not to be missed when we sit down with CEO and Founder of Aurabox, Dr Chaturica Athukorala. After being co-founded in 2021, Aurabox was awarded the National 2022 iAward Start Up of the Year. 2023 hasn’t slowed down, with their participation as one of 8 companies to be involved in the in the national MedTech Acutator Accelerator.

Chaturica set out to solve a problem that she faced multiple times a day as a radiologist – the inability to efficiently access medical imaging performed at different organisations for a single patient. Aurabox is a cloud-based medical asset storage and collaboration platform which allows doctors to access, view and share a patient’s entire medical imaging history in one place, regardless of where it was obtained. With Aurabox, she is providing a simpler process for everyone involved and most importantly improved outcomes for patients.

Over this lunchtime fireside chat, Chaturica will share the challenges, wins, business growth and her personal experience as a passionate advocate and leader in the healthcare industry and a Canberra female founder.

The seasoned Female Founder and chair of the Canberra Innovation Network, Hala Batainah will lead this lunchtime fireside chat. Hala is a true change-maker when it comes to women in innovation and is a standout among the business community in Canberra.
