The Boosting Female Founders Initiative (the Initiative) is extending the support available to women founders, by providing access to expert mentoring and advice to ensure women entrepreneurs have the knowledge and networks they need to succeed and grow.
They are currently seeking strong diversity in establishing the pool of mentors, including businesses from regional and remote locations, businesses with experience assisting Indigenous or migrant owned businesses or with startup founders with a disability, to deliver expert mentoring and advice to the successful applicants.
The Boosting Female Founders Initiative provides startup businesses with grant funding to scale their businesses into domestic and global markets. It helps female entrepreneurs overcome the disadvantages faced in getting access to finance and support, to grow their startups.
If you or your organisation has skills, experience, and networks in innovation, business creation and modelling, investment, boosting innovation and entrepreneurship – this may be a great opportunity for you!
Mentoring startups is an empowering experience that benefits both mentors and mentees. For a mentor, it is an opportunity to share the knowledge and expertise gained through the years and inspire a new generation of women entrepreneurs.
Mentoring provided under the Initiative will help foster entrepreneurship and assist founders to harness the full potential of their startups.
The request for tender is open now on AusTender and closes at 10:00am on Monday, 1 February 2021.
