Accelerator Programs

Fast-track your startup growth

Get support to grow your innovative company through an accelerator program. In a high intensity, fixed-term cohort you will explore, validate and refine your business with the help of experienced entrepreneurs and mentors.

From your business model to accessing capital, these programs will fast-track your startup whilst connecting you to important networks and a supportive ecosystem.

GRIFFIN Accelerator

The GRIFFIN Accelerator is a three-month intensive program run by a group of seasoned Canberra entrepreneurs who invest in, host, coach and mentor selected startups to create successful businesses.

The ACT Government will be supporting GRIFFIN Accelerator in 2020 by providing grants of $25,000 to successful applicants.

The heart of this program are the mentors, who bring substantial experience in startups, investing, raising capital, sales, business development, and significant industry and investor networks.

If selected to join the program, you will be paired with a lead mentor who will meet with you fortnightly to provide guidance and coaching on how best to take your business forward.

Every other week you will meet with the GRIFFIN Accelerator team, and your fellow GRIFFIN cohort for regular accountability sessions.

Couple this with additional guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, workshops, and seminars, GRIFFIN provides you with comprehensive support from day one.

You will have a dedicated desk space in a thriving community of entrepreneurs and innovators, in the heart of Canberra City and take part in a calendar of events to meet and connect with some of the most successful entrepreneurs in Australia.

Finally, at the conclusion of the program, you will have the opportunity to pitch to investors from Canberra and beyond for further funding that will support your businesses growth.

The Mill House Accelerator

The Mill House Social Enterprise Accelerator Program (GRIST) is a 6-month social venture builder for individuals and teams who seek to use a hybrid business model to achieve social, cultural economic or environmental impact.

GRIST focuses on building business skills and networks that will enable social enterprises to develop a commercially viable business that will sustain long-term social impact. The Mill House support is designed to ‘accelerate’ the development of social ventures by validating their business model and preparing them to access capital and customers.
