What are you working on?
Artsource Global match public spaces with emerging artists – so we can see art in our cafes, restaurants and other public spaces. Art lovers can find places to see and buy amazing art.

I’m working on building my database of artworks for business to choose from – so I’m looking for artists who want to be displayed.

Why is innovation important to you?
Innovation gives us the chance to look at problems in a new light, and in that process, imagine new businesses and opportunities. It’s exciting to be working in this space, taking my idea, testing and validating it and building my business. It provides me with freedom and flexibility to manage my life, which in turn, makes me a much less guilty mother!

What drives you to make a difference?
I was chatting with my teenager about his options when he left school – and I kept telling him to find his passion. On reflecting on my own career choices, I couldn’t help but see, that I needed to walk my own talk. Life is short – make every minute count.

Do you have any advice for getting more women into the innovation ecosystem?
There is a lot of commitment and dedication to building your own business – but with the support of the innovation community in the ACT, I truly believe that women have access to opportunities to find a life work balance that works for them. Believe in yourself, seek help, follow advice and keep building your own dream.
