The GRIFFIN Accelerator is welcoming six startups to participate in the 3-month intensive program, led by experienced mentors. 2021 marks the eighth year of the program, and each year brings in unique and high-growth potential teams.

Meet the Teams
Seitec: Seismic system development for detection, localisation and tracking of targets of interest, including people, vehicles and air-dropped weaponry
Membrane Transporter Engineers: Engineering aquaporin function to advance water filtration technology for future water security
Spark3D: We revolutionize the electronics manufacturing industry by decentralising it, making it more efficient and allowing the development of a whole new class of undreamt devices
Envir AI: A working system that enables non-AI experts to configure, optimise and operate machine learning; currently paying customers use this for image processing
MIIROKO: MIIROKO is a subscription home hair colour kit of salon quality, where consumers can have direct access to hairdressers to help select and apply colour at home
UnicornShift: UnicornShift is a two-sided marketplace that matches road workers and equipment to nearby worksites

Over the course of three months, the teams will work intensively with their GRIFFIN mentors and the Canberra Innovation Network Growth Team to:
- Refine their business model
- Find and engage customers
- Accelerate their startup
In early December, the teams will pitch to the GRIFFIN mentors for up to $100k investment and demonstrate their progress.
