Tell us about what you are working on at the moment.
Learning the ropes for my role and getting to know the wonderful team.
I also run Book Club and Board Games, always interested in finding more activities for coworkers
Who or what inspires you?
People who follow their passion, and who share that with others. No matter what their ‘thing’ is, it’s great to meet and talk to people who have been able to throw themselves into their passion. I feed off their energy!
What’s your favourite book or podcast?
The podcast Bang On: with Myf Warhurst & Zan Rowe: it catches me up on all the random things going on in the world, they have great banter, and good recommendations for books & shows to catch.
What are you most passionate about?
Environment, sustainability, health & wellbeing.
If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be and why?
Fake pockets in clothes!
What’s your poison? (Drink of choice? Your go-to coffee order?)
Rooibos. Great as plain tea, also a good base in chai, or with chocolate. Best enjoyed in my favourite teapot, with my favourite humans.
What do you work towards in your free time?
Crafting, gardening, community.
What’s the coolest innovation you’ve read or heard about lately?
All the new applications people are finding for fungi, whether breaking down waste and contaminants, or making enviro friendly packaging and so much more.
What is something that never fails to make you smile?
Puppies!
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Just finished “After the Party” on iView. My weekly must-watches though are all murder mysteries/crime dramas.
Tell us something interesting about yourself that we may not know
I make some of my own clothes, by copying things I like or adjusting and drafting patterns. My latest is a long skirt made of lush material covered in trees and other greenery.
