Female Founders know it’s not just HR, it’s about people

Supporting Female Founders to Flourish, Prosper and Thrive

Every second month the Canberra Innovation Network celebrates Female Founders. These inclusive events are part of the Canberra Innovation Networks’ ambition to diversify the innovation community and cultivate a safe and inclusive space for ideas, leadership, opportunities, and teams.

Over lunch on 19 July, the Canberra Innovation Network will be partnering with Women With Altitude to bring you ‘Flourish, Thrive and Prosper’, a fireside chat with HR and Culture expert Renee Beerworth, Founder of Spinach Ventures.
Women With Altitude is a Sydney-based social enterprise founded by Andrea Turner-Boys. Andrea’s passion lies in building safe spaces for women to connect and build communities around their careers and businesses. This event provides the opportunity for women to support and connect with each other and learn how compassionate HR can create a sense of belonging in a business from a true expert in this field.

Renee is truly passionate about connecting and motivating people which stems from working in organisations and leading internal HR teams. This passion led her to found Spinach Ventures in 2015. Renee’s experience spans diverse industries, including professional services, design, law, maritime, horticulture, construction, real estate, transport, retail, not-for-profit, and technology.

This event is inclusive and open to all wishing to attend. The Canberra Innovation Network encourages anyone that is interested in creating a positive work environment, empowering people, and adding genuine value to the workplace, to
attend this event. “Values of any organisation are the cornerstone for success. It is so important to ensure teams feel empowered, safe, and motivated and solid HR processes are key to this. The most important resource a business has is it’s employees – and as an employer the environment we provide is fundamental to that success. We absolutely want to see teams Flourish, Thrive and Prosper ” – Sharyn Smith, CBRIN COO.
“This event is an amazing opportunity for people to learn the importance of connection and collaboration, something we are very passionate about at Women with Altitude and we are delighted to be collaborating with CBRIN on this event” – Andrea Turner-Boys, Women With Altitude Founder.

“It takes a unique set of people skills to facilitate respect, understanding, and genuine interactions between people, peers, teams, and management. At Spinach Ventures we focus on giving everyone a voice and fostering a sense of belonging in a team, it’s about creating a safe and positive environment for teams to thrive and grow.” – Renee Beerworth, Spinach Ventures Founder
